We are so honored! Couture Rocks Fine Jewelry was voted Best of Southlake 2015 for Fine Jewelry! Many thanks to our friends who chose us for quality, innovation, great customer service and giving back to the community. What a wonderful surprise on our 5th Anniversary as a local business! We love what we do!
In the world of gemstones, there is always more to learn and discover. Last Thursday, we enjoyed an informative and fun evening in Southlake, Texas to see some fabulous gemstones and learn about mining practices, cutting and trends from the owner for Top Notch Faceting. Jean-Noel explained how certain cuts create more interest in some gemstones as he passed around museum quality and rare finds from Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Brazil and other areas of the world.
Pictured here is the largest rough Aquamarine we have ever seen - 300 carats with a natural tube running through it, which increases the value along with the iron colored thread deep in the middle of the stone. The cut aquamarine stone pictured is an example of fine facet cutting for a fabulous gemstone pendant or ring.
Aquamarine is considered the symbol of youth, hope and health.

Everyone loved our sparkling show at the beautiful il Calabrese Ristorante in Southlake, Texas on December 13. Couture Rocks and fashion clothing designer Ese Azenabor hosted a fun and fabulous evening.
One of our guests, blogger for Luxe Squad, shared her comments: Esé Azénabor, Nigerian born and Canadian transplant, showcased her Spring 2015 collection filled with her signature, exquisitely hand-embroidered and beaded wearable works of art. Carinthia Kishaba of Couture Rocks Fine Jewelry had personally laid out her one-of-a-kind and limited edition, opulent treasures in one of the most beautifully merchandising displays I have ever seen.
I had the pleasure of meeting both women previously through various events through Fashion Group International of Dallas. Carinthia Kishaba, a strong advocate of charities and the local community, serves as a Membership Chair on the FGI Dallas Board of Directors and Executive Board Member of Kids Matter International. As owner of Couture Rocks, she is both designer and curator, discovering distinctive, one-of-a-kind or limited edition pieces from award-winning designers and precision master craftsmen for their custom pieces. As a woman, she is an absolute delight, with a warmth and humor, and genuine smile or laugh always at the ready.
Esé Azénabor, also a member of FGI Dallas, has an amazing story filled with dreams, sacrifices, risks, and ultimately, triumph as she is quickly catapulting to becoming a fashion tour de force. Luxurious fabrications, meticulous hand-beading and embroidery, her line is sheer extravagance, yet her Ready-to-Wear niche is very price obtainable for the budding Fashionista. For a true investment piece you will own forever, her Haute Couture line has already begun captivating celebrities on the red carpet. For those who are attending New York's next Fashion Week, Esé Azénabor's line will be showing February 13th at noon.
Just like Carinthia, Esé possesses a wonderful warmth and high-spirit, an absolute joy to be around.
On November 14, we celebrated Night of Stars as Dallas Fashion Group International honored Linda Gray, Zac Posen and other great celebrities. Linda Gray is wearing our Signature Couture Diamond Earrings!
We think our 50 Shades of Gray are so fabulous on Linda Gray. We enjoy all the characters she has played in her lifetime. Now she is adding the Fairy Godmother in Cinderella this January at the Wimbledon Theater in London.
Emmy Celebrities Alicia Witt, Joey King, and Selenis Leyva loved Couture Rocks amazing Spider Web hand creation during our Hollywood premier. The beautiful Sapphire and black diamond cuff was a huge hit in the creature selection. Jackson Rathbone and wife Sheila Hafsadi rocked our Sapphire Nail Ring!
Couture Rocks was invited to participate in the 2014 emmys. We're so grateful to be going and simply can't wait for it to begin! More to follow on such a fantastic upcoming event!
Announcing some new arrivals: Beautiful white sapphires on Orange Stingray cuff or Blue Topaz and sapphire rings or

DFW Style Daily posted Travel tips by Carinthia Kishaba on May 23, 2014 "When dealing with airport security and the shoe issue, I always wear slip-on shoes. Tying up the line with complicated shoes is a bit on the rude side. Also, I’m very cold natured, so I always wear pants and take a sweater on the plane, rather than using in-flight blankets. That way, your skin isn’t touching anything that hundreds of other people have used. Finally, chewing gum during take-off and landing helps with the ear pressure, of course, but for little ones, I suggest having them take small drinks from a sippy cup or bottle for the same result.”
Couture Rocks Owner, Carinthia Kishaba, was featured in the April 8 edition of DFW Style Daily.
In the business of bling since 2001, Carinthia Kishaba dreamed of becoming a designer while shining brightly as a retail leader for jewelry boutiques across the country. After carefully cultivating her aesthetic for nearly a decade, Kishaba’s creative ambitions became a reality when she and her mother co-founded Couture Rocks Fine Jewelry in 2010. Focusing on limited edition and one-of-a-kind pieces, the entrepreneur crafts her own custom creations in-house. Through Couture Rocks, she also sources luxurious finds for clients from additional top tier labels. When she’s not on an obsessive quest to score the “perfect piece” for one of her many devotees, Kishaba finds inspiration around the Metroplex. Today, she’s revealing all that glitters in our own backyard with a roster of sparkling local recommendations.
