Couture Rocks is honored to bejewel Mezzo-Soprano Opera Star, Jennifer Lane, for the Grammys in Beverly Hills on February 8! Ms. Lane is nominated in the Best Opera Recording category. She is one of the singers on the University of Michigan's recording of Darius Milhaud's L'Orestie D'Eschyle.
She is an associate professor of voice at University of North Texas and because of her ties here in Texas, she requested to be dressed by local designers - Binzario Couture for her gowns and Couture Rocks for her Fine Jewelry.
The first part of the Grammys will be broadcast online only, leading up to the 7 p.m. televised event. You can see the online broadcast starting at 1 PM.
Jennifer Lane sang principal roles at the New York City Opera for a decade and, at the Metropolitan Opera, Lane was responsible for roles in Arnold Schoenberg's Moses und Aron and Leos Janacek's Katyà Kabanovà. Prior to joining the College of Music, she taught at Stanford University, the University of Kentucky, Brooklyn College of the City University of New York, and at summer programs and in master classes around the nation and abroad.
